How to use Quality Lead Finder
Scan a market, spot weak online presence, save the best prospects, and pitch with ready-made angles.
1 Scan a territory
- Trade — type any service (cleaning, plumbers, HVAC, or free text).
- City / market — start typing a city; pick a suggestion when it appears.
- Radius — drag 5–50 miles to set the search area.
- Click Scan territory. Results load into the list and map.
Recent cities appear as chips under the search bar — tap one to jump back fast. On mobile, open the search sheet from the scan bar at the top of Leads.
2 Read opportunity scores
Each business gets an opportunity score (0–100) from the server. Higher = weaker online presence = better pitch target.
- 70+ High — prioritize these
- 40–69 Medium — worth a look
- <40 Lower — already stronger online
Use High score to sort by opportunity. Use No website to show only businesses without a site (prime one-pager prospects).
3 Inspect a lead
Click a card or map pin to open the inspector. You’ll see:
- Rating, reviews, open status, price level (when available)
- Business details — category, phone, website, photos, hours
- Opportunity breakdown
- Recent Google reviews (when returned)
- Suggested pitches — copy-ready angles from the server
Use Share for AI proposal to send a structured brief via your phone’s share sheet, or copy/download on desktop. Also: Copy pitch, Open in Maps, or Call (mobile).
★ Share for an AI proposal
- Open a prospect → Share for AI proposal.
- On mobile, use Share… to Messages, Mail, or paste into ChatGPT/Claude apps.
- On desktop, Copy brief or Download .md, then paste into your AI of choice.
The brief includes scores, website status, reviews, pitch angles, and a ready-made instruction asking the AI to write a one-page proposal.
4 Map
The center panel is a real OpenStreetMap view. Pins are colored by opportunity score. Selecting a pin syncs the list and detail panel. On mobile, use the Map tab.
5 Save leads & pipeline
- Open a prospect → Save as lead.
- Open Saved to manage your pipeline (Discovered → Contacted → Proposal → Won/Lost).
- Export CSV downloads your saved table for CRM import.
Saved leads stay in this browser (localStorage). Clearing site data will remove them.
6 API budget & Refresh
The header API meter tracks a soft daily budget (100 units) so you stay inside free-tier-friendly usage:
- Scan (cache hit) — free (0 units)
- Scan (new search) — usually 1 unit (+1 if a new city must be geocoded)
- City autocomplete — 1 unit per request
- Refresh — forces a live Google pull and costs units; confirm when prompted
At the soft limit, force refresh is blocked. Cached scans still work. Meter turns amber near 80% and red at 100%.
7 Tips that convert
- Start with No website + high scores in one trade/city.
- Widen radius only after you exhaust the close market.
- Reuse pitch bullets in a short email or call script; personalize with their ZIP and review count.
- Install as an app (browser → “Install” / Add to Home Screen) for a mobile-friendly PWA.
Keyboard & layout
- Desktop — Leads | Saved | Help in the top nav; three columns: list · map · detail.
- Mobile — bottom tabs Leads · Map · Saved; ? opens Help; scan sheet from the top bar on Leads.
